| Round Commentary: | Andy and I went head-to-head against Pa and Wes. We were down 4-1 going into the 6th hole. We pushed on the 6th after Wes and I each made ridiculous Up&Downs (his Up was ridiculous while my Down was a ridiculous 20+ footer). Came back and par'd the par-5 #7 to cut their lead to 4-3. Tied the 8th and 9th (but only after Andy sunk a tricky, downhill, 4-footer to save the tie). Highlights: Each of us had 1 defining putt during the round. Andy's was obviously the game-tying putt on #9. I made a +30 footer on #2 for a birdie. Pa came back on the next hole and sunk a nice 15-footer for par. Wes made a clutch putt on #8 for the carryover. |
